K9 Social Club

We are a non profit, dog socialization group. The group meets in Oxnard, California every Saturday from 10:00 A.M. - Noon. See the Calendar page for information about dates and locations. There is no fee to join. All dogs must be spayed or neutered.

We encourage dogs to interract with other dogs of all types and sizes as well as with all of the people.  Exposing dogs to all of these experiences helps to create dogs that behave better at home and in their communities.  Dogs participation is based on their being spaying or neutered. 
Minors must be accompanied by a responsible adult.

K9 Social Club offers you and your dog(s) an opportunity to socialize with other dogs and their people.  Alternating off-leash play with on-leash walks helps our dogs to encounter a wide variety of situations. 

Sometimes dogs like people more than other dogs.  Sometimes they like other dogs more.  We work to help dogs become social with other dogs and people.  Our most valuable asset is our members.  There is no one solution to any challenge.  If one solution doesn't work for you and your dog(s) there is surely someone in K9 Social Club who will have another one for you to try.
 
Membership in K9 Social Club is free so everyone of any financial ability is able to take advantage of the benefits of socialization.  The only requirement is that your dog be spayed or neutered.
 
We are run by all volunteers.  No one recieves any compensation for time given to K9 Social Club.  Your donations help to keep the group running.  Expenses include insurance, toys, equipment and maintenance.
